Bob Yayac brings more than 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur and business leader to his role as CEO at Kynectiv™, Inc. He is responsible for the company’s strategic vision and oversees all efforts related to the organization’s growth and profitability. Yayac co-founded Kynectiv in 2010.
In addition to his role as CEO at Kynectiv, Yayac is a board member of the Business Leaders Network and a past board member of the Wharton Alumni Club of Philadelphia. He received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his BS from Randolph-Macon College.
JB McGee, MD leads the Scientific Advisory Board that provides guidance and direction to Kynectiv, Inc. with regard to simulation, virtual patients and eLearning for healthcare education. His Laboratory for Educational Technology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine conceived, designed and developed the virtual patient simulation platform on which DecisionSim™ is based — vpSim™.
JB is the Assistant Dean for Medical Education Technology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and a practicing gastroenterologist. In addition, JB is also the co-chair of the Virtual Patient Working Group at MedBiquitous (a medical education standards-developing organization).
As Chief Operating Officer, René Smith is responsible for the strategy, execution and management of our company’s technology and operations with a keen focus on providing successful, data-driven outcomes for clients. René has spent more than 25 years in senior management positions at both large and small companies and brings a wealth of experience in guiding organizations through significant growth and change.
René graduated with a BS in Finance and Management Information Systems from Drexel University, an MBA from St. Joseph’s University, and an MS in Systems Engineering from University de Lausanne.
As the Director of Instructional Design and Learning Solutions, Dr. Kira King works side-by-side with our clients to help them develop and deploy engaging and effective educational programs with DecisionSim. Kira specializes in story-based instructional design and has a passion for creating medical training and simulation.
Kira holds a PhD in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University and a Masters Degree in Computers and Education from Columbia University.
